This is a really cute and funny book (as all of Roger Hargreave's Mr Menand Little Miss books).
Mr Bounce's problem is not being able to do anything without bouncing. Buy the book and see how he got help! Also I enjoy reading this.

The Mr. Men series is really wonderful for kids 5-8 years old. Each book tells a simple story with an important (yet easy-to-understand) moral. The illustrations are very bright, colorful, and humorous. Adults enjoy reading it along with their kids.

Mr. Chatterbox teaches the reader about modesty and the importance of listening. As his name suggests, he talks too much! His friends find a clever way to keep him quiet and make him a better listener. Could this apply to me as well as to my child?

If I were to make a list of some of my favorite books from my childhood, Mr. Silly would no doubt be on it! I'm lucky enough to own a hard cover copy of this (that colored in the back of when I was 3). I have also enjoyed reading this to kids now that I'm older--opportunity for interaction and critical thinking skills--What is "normal"? Not a work wearing a monacle and a bright necktie! What sound does a duck really make? One Sentence Summary: Mr. Silly's backward town is holding its annual competition for the silliest idea of the year. (But how can you really sum up a book in one sentence?) I'm really pleased to see Mr. Men and Little Miss books available on Amazon. They may not be fancy or award winners, but that's not really what makes a book great! Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with ALL of the stories of this series, but I CAN recommend Mr. Bump, Mr. Messy, Mr. Tickle and Little Miss Plump.

This is a great book for a child at Christmas time. I purchased it for my son in the spring, and after reading it once, I think that this would be a good book to put away until Christmas.

Mr. Snow is a snowman that Santa brings to life with magic. Mr. Snow helps Santa in delivering all of the presents to all of the boys and girls.

This is probably the best Mr. Men book to get at Christmas time, but I wouldn't recommend it in the summer.

Mr. Tall is sad because his legs are too long. He meets his friends Mr. Small, Mr. Tickle, Mr. Nosey, Mr. Greedy who all have problems that they have turned into benefits. All of his friends show Mr. Tall that he doesn't have to be sad because he has long legs.

This book contains 30 pages of brightly colored pictures that will catch the eye of any youngster. It also teaches them a good lesson that you should be happy with how you look.

My son really liked this book. He said that Mr. Tall was funny because his legs were so long.

It is to be expected that any book written as long ago as 1845 is, in and of its very nature, dated; that's a given. Humor, alas,dies the death of old age far faster than other forms of literature. But, except for certain words and expressions, (which might be difficult at any age, given the difference between American and British English), this book was still vastly humorous to me; it is still easy to see why the original publication of these "lectures" was the making of the British humor magazine "Punch". It is as fine an example of well-written humorous fiction as I would hope to find.

This is essentially a yellowpages directory (as the title suggests) for any and all music-business related resources that a musician might ever find themself in need of. Whether it be recording studios, record labels, nightclubs or music stores, they're all in there. It is also nicely organized and very easy to sort through. Very useful!

Chief Justice Douglas, in lobbying to obtain National Park status for the Olympics, wrote wonderful passages about the area. In particular, anyone planning a beach hike should read Douglas's descriptions of this beautiful coastline, which is still wild today, thanks to his efforts.

The Mysterious Sign to the House of David is faithful to the Scriptures, expounding accurately the text within its context. It shows that God has, indeed, given the house of David a most amazing clear sign concerning the coming of the promised Messiah. The author gives very helpful historical and cultural background from the Scriptures that very much enhance properly understanding the setting of Isaiah chapter seven. He graciously and accurately refutes erroneous interpretations. He makes very good observations, and answers anticipated questions that often arise in the mind of the reader. He does not shy away from hard questions. Throughout the book he backs up his interpretation with other examples from the Word of God - letting the Scripture testify to itself with two or three witnesses. It's a book to be read slowly, with pen in hand. True seekers of God will gain very much from reading this book.
